The Missing Appointments
We were instructed as expert forensic accountant to carry out a divorce investigation by the solicitors acting for the wife. She was convinced that her husband, who practised as an Osteopath, had not declared the full picture of his income from his business. She maintained that his accounts did not show an accurate picture of his results.
We investigated the business and managed to show that based on his appointment diaries, he had been a lot busier than the accounts appeared to indicate. Following our report the husband agreed to settle with his wife based on a much higher figure than prior to our involvement.
