We are often instructed to act as an expert forensic accountant to carry out an investigation when a couple are going through a divorce.
This can be on behalf of one spouse to value a business or a private company that one of them holds shares in, and may be a majority shareholding or a small minority interest.
We are also often instructed during a divorce to investigate and try to trace assets that one spouse believes the other is hiding. We will utilise our forensic accounting and investigative skills to find these assets and report on our findings.
